Hand them over. There are all kinds of titles in the wrestling world and it can be a big difference when one of them changes hands. That can open up a variety of doors and stories for the future, including the former champion trying to get their title back. While that might not exactly have been the case this week, a pair of titles did change hands in the same night.

Two title changes took place this week on the Title Tuesday edition of AEW Dynamite. First, Orange Cassidy defeated Rey Fenix to regain the International Title. This makes Cassidy a two time champion after his first reign set a record for the longest in history. Later, Hikaru Shida defeated Saraya to win the AEW Women’s Title. This marks Shida’s record third title reign and extends her record for most combined days as champion.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that had to happen on a show called Title Tuesday. The show was built around title matches and the two title matches saw new champions. At the same time, it is a little bit interesting that we are right back where we were just over a month ago with both titles, but at least the two new champions are established stars who can handle the pressure.
