Welcome back? There are so many talented wrestlers on the WWE roster that the company has been able to split them into three groups. While NXT is viewed as the lowest of the three brands, the show still airs weekly on national television and features some incredibly talented wrestlers. It can mean quite a bit when someone goes to the roster and that might be the case again with two SmackDown stars.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Taken Down Two Pegs: Undertaker Tells Hilarious Story About CM Punk Biting Off More Than He Could Handle

This week’s NXT featured North American Champion Dragon Lee successfully defending his title against Joe Coffey and Charlie Dempsey. Following the match, Dempsey’s No Quarter Catch Club stablemates attacked Lee, resulting in SmackDown’s Joaquin Wilde and Cruz del Toro running in for the save. There is no word on if this is a one off appearance or a permanent move for the team. The two had previously been full time NXT stars as part of Legado del Fantasma.

It was a nice save. Check out the rescue and the team’s time in NXT:

Opinion: This is one of those things that can go rather well as it isn’t like Wilde and del Toro have been doing much on SmackDown. Even if this is just a way to get them back on television for the sake of freshening them up a bit, it’s better than sitting on the sidelines. This should work well for them, as a six man, or even an eight man, tag could be quite the smash hit.
