For the first time ever. There have been all kinds of wrestlers throughout history and it is very difficult for one of them to reach legendary status. This week on AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho and Sting appeared in a staredown and shoved each other with their baseball bats. According to AEW commentary, this was the first time that the two have ever been in the ring together in any fashion, as they have never had a match or segment together. There is nothing to suggest that the two are currently scheduled to have a match. The two were together in WCW from 1996-1999 and in WWE from 2014-2015.
It was a showdown. Check out the showdown, plus the two on their own:
Opinion: This is one of those things that somehow has never happened, though it isn’t a big surprise that they were never together in WCW. You would think they might have been together at some point in WWE, but having them go this far without it happening is rather strange. If nothing else, it certainly was a moment, and rather amazing that Jericho has reached this level after being so far behind Sting in their WCW days.
