WATCH: Two Departed NXT Stars May Not Be So Departed

Catch that? There are all kinds of ways to present a star in wrestling and some of them can be rather clever. On occasion, a wrestler will be hidden in plain sight and you might never notice they are there. That can make for quite the reveal later on, but there are other times when things are laid out in front of you. The latter seems to be the case this week with two stars on NXT.

Earlier this month, Schism defeated the Creed Brothers in a Loser Leaves NXT match, resulting in Julius and Brutus Creed being banished from NXT. This week, Schism attempted to recruit the Creeds’ friend Ivy Nile. As Schism walked away, two masked members nodded to Nile. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, the two masked men are the Creeds, though it is not clear where the story is going from here.

Opinion: That’s a nice way to go and the nod was subtle enough that you might have missed it the first time around. That makes things all the more interesting and hopefully it leads to a great return for the Creeds, who can wind up on the main roster, or back in NXT where they have been rather good so far. Either way, the story is not over and that should make things more interesting.
