WATCH: Trish Stratus Gives A Very Interesting Explanation For Turning On Becky Lynch

There’s your explanation. Things move very quickly in WWE as someone can make a surprise turn out of nowhere. Something like that can change the course of a career either in the long or short term, as someone can give up everything they have or have a big feud with someone as a result. One such turn took place last week and now we have gotten the official explanation.

Last week on Monday Night Raw, Trish Stratus substituted for an injured Lita and teamed with Becky Lynch, losing the Women’s Tag Team Titles in the process. Following the loss, Stratus turned on Lynch and laid her out. This week, Stratus explained that she attacked Lita before the match and then cost Lynch the titles due to Lynch not respecting her. Stratus said that she was the reason for the Women’s Revolution and wanted to show Lynch that she is a legend. The two have reportedly been set for a feud that will culminate in a match at Summerslam.

Opinion: The explanation makes sense and it is a story that has been done many times over the years. The good thing is that Stratus nailed the explanation and everything she said makes sense. I could go for seeing these two fight, though stretching it out for so many more months could be difficult. For now though, things have gone in the right direction and all WWE has to do is follow up properly.
