WATCH: Trailer Released For "Let's Start A Cult" Featuring CM Punk

It’s another career. Wrestlers have tried their hands at acting for decades and it continues to this day. The idea makes sense on paper as wrestlers are always playing characters, but it does not always translate to success on the screen. There are instances where it does work out though and now another top WWE Superstar is returning to acting, which he has worked at for a good while.

ONE Media has released a trailer for the upcoming comedy “Let’s Start A Cult” featuring WWE’s CM Punk. The trailer features Punk in multiple appearances though it is not clear what his role in the film will be. The film will be released in theaters on October 25. Punk has dabbled in acting over the years, appearing in both television and films, mainly during his hiatus from wrestling.

Opinion: This is where Punk tends to shine as he certainly has a presence when it comes to acting, which shows through both in acting and wrestling. Some wrestlers have that ability to ump up to the next level and it makes for a cool moment when something like this works out. Punk is not likely to make acting a full time career but he seems happy with occasional roles like this one.
