Earlier this week on AEW Dynamite, Hangman Page challenged Swerve Strickland to one more match in their quest to become AEW World Champion. Strickland accepted, with the match being made for next week’s edition of Dynamite. This week on Collision, Strickland told his manager Prince Nana not to interfere in the match, saying he wanted to beat Page on his own. While not confirmed, this could be the start of a babyface turn for Strickland.
This could be big. Check out the segment, plus more from Strickland:
Opinion: It is fairly clear that Strickland is becoming one of the biggest stars in all of AEW and having him turn to the good side would not shock me in the slightest. He has more charisma than he knows what to do with and it would be nice to see him getting this kind of a chance. We could still be a long way off form that kind of a full turn, but at least AEW seems to be making some movements in that direction.
