Welcome back? The AEW roster has quite the talented roster with a variety of wrestlers who can be put into one spot after another. It can be interesting to see what the company does with them as they are moved into different spots. Occasionally they will show up after a hiatus for one reason or another, which was the case again this week in a rather unique way.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: VIDEO: Good Sign For Jacob Fatu’s WWE Status
This week’s edition of AEW Dynamite opened with the return of former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, who had been away since June 30. Moxley went on to say that he was looking for Darby Allin, who was not there. In addition, he said that this was not Tony Schiavone’s AEW anymore. Later in the show, Moxley and the also returning Marina Shafir attacked some security guards, with Moxley saying lessons in humility were needed in the company. There is no word on when Moxley will return to the ring.
This was different. Check out what Moxley did, plus what he has done before:
Opinion: I’m not sure what is going on here but Moxley is certainly doing something different and that is what he needs to do. Moxley has kind of been the same thing for a long time now and having something brand new, or at least fresh, is a good thing to do. Hopefully it plays out, as the story has some potential to go in a few good directions, which is nice to see.
What do you think of Moxley’s return? Where do you see it going? Let us know in the comments below.
