WATCH: The Rock Makes Surprise Monday Night Raw Appearance, Sends Violent Message To Cody Rhodes

And back for the sequel. While there are several wrestlers on the WWE roster, there are very few whose appearances are nothing short of an event. WWE has just such a situation like that right now as the Rock is making semi-regular appearances on television. The Rock is scheduled to appear on April 1, but he showed up again this week an got in one heck of a beating.

The Rock appeared on this week’s Monday Night Raw, interrupting Cody Rhodes in the show’s opening segment. Rock whispered something to Rhodes before leaving, with Rhodes appearing very confused. Later in the show, Rhodes was brawling with the Bloodline when Rock attacked him. Rock bloodied Rhodes and talked about how Rhodes’ mother will be seeing her son bleed again. Rhodes and Seth Rollins are set to team up to face Rock/Roman Reigns on the first night of WrestleMania.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that the Rock can do like few others and it worked very well here. The Rock is awesome at bringing the energy and emotion and the ending segment made me want to see Rhodes fight back and get his revenge. That is the point of the entire thing and if WWE can make the whole thing work at WrestleMania, we could be in for an all time moment.
