New management. There are all kinds of stables in wrestling and some of them manage to dominate the promotion for a long time. Eventually though, the teams fall on harder times and something changes. That is the case in WWE as well, including with one of the most powerful groups the company has ever seen in the Bloodline. Now though, things are changing in quite a big way.

At WrestleMania 40, Roman Reigns lost the WWE Universal Championship to Cody Rhodes in the main event. Reigns has not been seen since, leaving the Bloodline without an official leader on hand. Solo Sikoa has since added Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa to the team, with Paul Heyman saying Sikoa does not have Reigns’ approval. This week on SmackDown, Sikoa revealed he had talked to Reigns, who had named him the new leader of the Bloodline in Reign’s absence. In addition, Heyman is to serve as Sikoa’s wise man, the same as he was for Reigns. There is no word on when Reigns will return to WWE TV.

Opinion: This is still one of, if not the biggest, stories going in WWE at the moment and this is the kind of change that could take it in quite the different direction. The interesting part is that Reigns might not have said what Sikoa claimed he said and that could open things up in a different direction. Reigns is the force in the whole thing, but WWE is doing some very intriguing things while he is gone.
