They’re done. Tag teams have a strange history in WWE as they often feel like they are put together for the sake of being split up. This can cause some rather abrupt endings for teams, as they seemingly go from happy to split in a matter of days. Something similar has happened again in NXT as a team that only started having troubles a few weeks ago have now split up.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: BREAKING: WWE Announces Newest Inductee Into Hall Of Fame

Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley split up this week on NXT when Paxley turned on Nile during a match. The two were involved in a #1 contenders triple threat match when Paxley refused to accept Nile’s tag and then attacked her. This comes after a few weeks of taunting from Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre, who have been saying that the two are not a real team. The two had been regularly teaming together since August 2022.

They have a history together. Check out the split, plus the two in happier times:

Opinion: This had been telegraphed for a good while before the split actually took place and that is not a bad thing. Nile has seemed to be a better singles prospect than tag wrestler, though NXT hardly has the most depth in its women’s tag division anyway. This should be a good thing overall though, as the two can feud to give both of them something interesting to do.
