Following the match, Stratton attacked Jax with the briefcase, followed by Bianca Belair giving Jax a KOD. Stratton then cashed in the briefcase to win the title in an impromptu match. This marks her first title on the main roster.
It was a big one. Check out the title matches, the fallout and how we got here:
Opinion: This was long overdue as there was little left for Stratton to do as she waited to cash in the briefcase. The moment also felt like her turning to the side of good, which the fans have seemingly been wanting to see for a long time now. It made for a nice surprise moment and the fans reacted to it, which is all you can ask for out of such a situation, making it a success.
