WATCH: Surprise Heel Turn Takes Place On NXT Following Grudge Match

That didn’t go well. Occasionally wrestles have been around for such a long time in a promotion that they need a change of pace. That might be a new story or character, but one of the best ways is to have them go either good or bad for a change. This can result in quite the shocking twist and kick start a new feud at the same time. We might have seen that again this week.

This week’s NXT featured Thea Hail defeating Jacy Jayne in a grudge match. During the match, Hail’s friend Fallon Henley saved Hail from an attack by Jazmyn Nyx. After Hail won, Henley attacked her from behind, turning heel for the first time in NXT. Later in the show, Henley told her friend Kelani Jordan that it was time for her to start looking after herself first.

Opinion: I’m intrigued by where this is going as we might be in for something good from Henley. It had felt like she had hit something of a ceiling in her previous role so maybe this is the change she had been needing. If nothing else, it is nice to see someone who has been around for a good while getting a fresh chance, as she certainly feels like she has the potential to be something.
