WATCH: Special Moment Takes Place After This Week's WWE SmackDown

You don’t see that very often. There are certain things that will happen at almost any WWE television taping. One of the most common is a post television show dark match,as a special star or two will appear after the show for a bonus match. Most of the time these are fairly run of the mill, but this time around, things were a bit different due to a certain someone being involved.

According to SECScoops.com, the post show dark match after this week’s SmackDown saw World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins defeat Damian Priest. According to a fan on Twitter, the match was stopped in the middle as the fans sang Rollins’ theme song to him. Rollins addressed the fans after the match, which was held in Des Moines, in his home state of Iowa.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that makes for a special moment at the end of the night and Rollins getting to do this in front of his home state makes it even better for him. The singing thing is a bit strange and takes some getting used to, but the fact is that Rollins is incredibly popular at the moment. Him being the World Heavyweight Champion and a special attraction like this makes sense, but this was a special one even for him.
