WATCH: SmackDown Stars Make Surprise Appearance On NXT, Eye Reigning Champions

Welcome back! There are all kinds of different wrestlers in WWE, to the point where the company is split into three mostly unique rosters. There are some stars who from one show to the other when necessary and it can make for some surprise cameos. Occasionally wrestlers will stick around even longer than expected and that might be the case again with two more stars.

This week on NXT, the NXT Tag Team Champions Tony D’Angelo and Stacks were in the back when the Street Profits came in. The two showed respect towards each other, with the Profits admiring the Tag Team Titles. There is no word on if the Profits will be wrestling in NXT anytime soon. The Profits, who recently aligned with Bobby Lashley on SmackDown, held the titles from June to August 2019.

It was a moment. Check out the cameo, plus the Profits in NXT:

Opinion: This is an interesting move, as WWE has made it clear that some main roster names could win NXT titles. I’m not sure how much the Profits would get out of winning the belts back, but at least they are getting something else to do. They haven’t really taken off on SmackDown yet and it could be interesting to see what they might be able to come up with for the team in NXT.
