That might be a bit. There are all kinds of ways for a wrestler to get hurt and none of them are positive. A wrestler can be put on the shelf for any length of time, but there are also injuries that they can work through. You never know how bad one of them is going to be, but now another wrestler has been hurt and the question is how long she is going to be missing from action.

Before this week’s WWE SmackDown went on the air, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler attacked Shotzi in the parking lot, slamming her hand in a car door. Later in the show, commentary announced that Shotzi had suffered a broken hand in the attack. There is no word on how long Shotzi could be out of action as a result of the incident. So far, there is nothing to indicate that this is anything more than a storyline injury.
This was nasty. Check out Rousey and Baszler’s attack, plus their match later in the show:
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that Rousey and Baszler need to be doing. They are attacking people who are challenging them and playing up the idea of strength in numbers. At the same time, Shotzi could easily continue wrestling through a hand injury and there is a very good chance that she will. For now though, we’ll have to settle for Rousey and Baszler hurting people, even if they were beaten later in the night.
