What a strange way to go. Titles are some of the most important things in all of wrestling, as someone holding a shiny belt is going to make a wrestling feel that much more important. A wrestler losing a championship can be rather devastation, but there are very rare occasions where someone wants to lose a title. That happened again this weekend in a very strange moment.

This weekend at WWE Money In The Bank, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez defeated Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey to regain the Women’s Team Titles. Late in the match, Baszler turned on Rousey and attacked her, leading to the title change. There is no word on why Baszler turned on Rousey, who did nothing wrong during the match. Baszler and Rousey trained together in mixed martial arts but have never had a singles match together.

Opinion: This was one of the stranger things I’ve seen from WWE in a long time but it does seem like we are getting that long awaited Baszler vs. Rousey feud, which could be quite the physical battle. It would be nice to see them fight, but the Baszler explanation alone could be rather interesting. If nothing else, it is certainly different and that could make things better for both going forward.
What do you think of the turn? How will the feud go? Let us know in the comments below.
