WATCH: Shawn Michaels And Sexyy Red Sing Together

That’s certainly a team. Celebrities have made cameos in wrestling for decades and they continue to do so to this day. It can be a big deal when someone from outside of the wrestling world pops in and you never know what kind of an impact they might have. That was the case again this week as a famous rapper showed up, but now she is doing something else for a bonus.

This week’s NXT featured a cameo from rapper Sexyy Red, who appeared in multiple segments as well as being announced as the host for Battleground on June 9. Following the show, Red posted a video of herself and WWE executive Shawn Michaels in a car singing Michaels’ Sexy Boy theme song. Red also posted a video of her meeting Michaels and posing for photos with him.

She was around. Check out the two clips plus Red’s time on NXT:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that you see happen every so often and it can tie things together between two worlds. I’m not sure how many Red fans are going to come over and see what she was doing on NXT but it offers someone new for fans to see. That has been done for years and hopefully it winds up working out for both sides, as Red is going to be around again.
