WATCH: The Rock Breaks Character After SmackDown Goes Off The Air

That’s not how it works. The wrestling world has been going a bit nuts in the last few weeks and some of the changes have been rather surprising. This includes wrestlers making surprise returns and taking part in stories you might not have expected. That was certainly the situation with the biggest story in WWE today, but now one of the most important pieces did something a bit out of character.

The final segment of last week’s SmackDown saw the Rock officially join the Bloodline after forming an unofficial alliance with Roman Reigns the previous week. This marked Rock’s first heel turn in WWE in over twenty years. A clip from after the show has made its way online though, showing the Rock greeting fans after SmackDown, breaking character in the process. There is nothing to suggest this will lead to any immediate change on WWE TV.

Opinion: Rock returning to WWE is not something you get to see very often and it is a special moment when he is around. That makes a moment like this, when some fans get to interact with him, that much better. I’m not sure where the story is going long term, but at least some fans got to see something cool like this in person, as they very well may never get another chance.
