WATCH: Rhea Ripley And Dominik Mysterio Disrespect Shawn Michaels, Michaels Responds

That’s not nice. There are all kinds of ways for wrestlers to get fans angry at them and some of these ways can be rather easy to see. One of the most common is to disrespect popular veterans who might not be able to physically do anything about it. That is currently the case with some of the biggest heels in WWE, as they did something rather dastardly this weekend.

On Sunday, NXT presented Great American Bash 2023, featuring Dominik Mysterio successfully defending the North American Title against Wes Lee and Mustafa Ali. WWE has released a video from after the match, showing Mysterio and his girlfriend Rhea Ripley ignoring NXT executive Shawn Michaels backstage. Michaels goes on to say that Mysterio’s father should have spanked him. Ripley tweeted about the video, saying

Opinion: That shove and the tweet are the kinds of things that make Ripley feel like a star. She does the little things so well and it makes for such a presentation overall. Mysterio is in the same boat, but it’s more along the lines of fans just disliking his mere existence. WWE has something special with these two and they seem rather interested in pushing the heck out of the pairing, as they should.
