He’s back. AEW has changed the way the wrestling world works as there are now several more stars being able to showcase their talents in front of the masses. That can open several doors for all kinds of stars and that is the case again with an international star. This time though, that star has left AEW and gone over to another promotion almost immediately after leaving.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: One More Time? Someone Wants The Nexus To Return To WWE
Last week, Penta El Zero Miedo officially left AEW when his contract with the company expired. Over the weekend, Penta appeared at the AAA television taping and cut a promo, though he did not wrestle a match. This would suggest that Penta has signed some sort of a deal with the company, though it is not clear how long. WWE is reportedly interested in signing Penta, but it is not clear if he will wait for his brother Rey Fenix’s AEW deal to expire to a WWE deal.
It was a big return. Check out the promo and Penta in AEW:
Opinion: This is at least a start for Penta and it’s better than sitting on the sidelines until he is able to sign with WWE, assuming that is what he wants to do. It might be a good while before Fenix is allowed t sign, but at least Penta is going to be able to stay around. Losing your status can be a big negative but at least for now, there should be something of some buzz around him.
What do you think of Penta? How would he do in WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
