WATCH: Popular Star Makes Return On AEW Dynamite

Welcome back. There are all kinds of talented wrestlers on the AEW roster, some of whom are rather different from almost anyone you will see. That can make for some interesting moments when one of those stars show up, especially if it is after a long time away for one reason or another. Such a return took place this week and the fans some some old tricks taking place again.

Danhausen made his return this week on AEW Dynamite, appearing in the corner of Orange Cassidy, Hook and Katsuyori Shibata as they defeated Angelo Parker, Matt Menard and Jake Hager in a six man tag team match. During the match, Danhausen put on Hager’s purple hat and then cursed Hager’s team, leading to their loss. Danhausen’s return had been teased for several weeks, including a return where he said he would be back the following week. Danhausen suffered a torn pectoral muscle at AEW Revolution in March and has been out of action since.

Opinion: It’s pretty safe to say that there is no one like Danhausen in all of wrestling and it makes a big deal to have him back on AEW TV. He isn’t your usual wrestler but gets to be out there doing his weird stuff, which is about as unique as you can get. The ans respond to him and that should be enough to keep him interesting, even if he is little more than a wacky sidekick.
