She’s here. There are a lot of talented stars on the WWE roster, to the point where the company can divide its wrestlers up into three different groups. This includes the NXT developmental roster, with up and coming stars on the way to one of the main rosters. It can be a big deal when one of them gets the call up and that appears to have been the case again this week.

This week on SmackDown, Santos Escobar faced Carlito in a singles match. Late in the match, Legado del Fantasma and the LWO, the wrestlers’ respective stables, got in a brawl at ringside. As the men brawled, NXT’s Elektra Lopez, a former member of Legado, attacked the LWO’s Zelina Vega, with the distraction allowing Escobar to win. Lopez then left with Legado, suggesting that she is once again part of the team.
That’s a big addition. Check out the debut, plus Lopez in action:
Opinion: This is the kind of debut that makes a lot of sense as Lopez has a history with Legado and it is a good move to put her in the spot. On top of that, she is already put into a good role, as she can be part in multi person tags or matches against Vega. Occasionally you get something perfect like this and if Lopez can do as well as she did in NXT, everything should wind up going fine.
What did you think of the debut? How will Lopez do on SmackDown? Let us know in the comments below.
