Hand them over. A title change can be one of the most important things to take place in wrestling, as you see both someone lose a title and fall down the card while someone else does the opposite. There are certain details that can make things even more important and that was the case this weekend, as two people won gold in a rather special way in an even more special place.

Over the weekend at WWE Clash At The Castle, Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre defeated Shayna Baszler/Zoey Stark and reigning champions Bianca Belair/Jade Cargill to win the Women’s Tag Team Titles. This marks the first title for both of them on the main roster. The two have been teaming together for several months but were only brought back to television in the last few weeks. The show took place in the team’s home country of Scotland.
It’s a big deal. Check out the title match and the new champs:
Opinion: This is the result that the show needed to make it feel more important. Any title change is going to feel like it matters and that is what we had here. At the same time, the Scotland fans needed some of their own to have some success and that is what we saw here. I’m not sure how long the title reign is going to last, but it means a lot to see the new champions crowned.
