WATCH: Money In The Bank Cash In Attempt At WWE Live Event

That’s a tease. There are certain concepts that take place in WWE every year and lead to some rather big moments shortly thereafter. Some of these things take place at regularly scheduled times, while others are more about guessing when something will happen. The latter was on display at a recent live event with a major tease of an event almost coming to pass.

Last weekend at WWE Money In The Bank, Tiffany Stratton won the women’s Money In The Bank briefcase, earning the right to cash in for an instant Women’s Title match anytime for the next year. Stratton tried to do just that on Saturday night at a WWE live event in Mexico City. Following Bayley’s successful title defense against Bianca Belair, Stratton attacked her, only for Belair to cut off the cash-in attempt before it could take place.

Opinion: There is something great about seeing a teased cash-in, if nothing else because it feels like you’re seeing a special event. That is what you get to see with the briefcase being teased, which is a rather cool moment. Stratton is going to cash in at some point and it very well may work, though we could be waiting a rather long time to see it happen. Just the teases keep things interesting though and that is what makes it all the better.
