WATCH: Nikkita Lyons Returns After Nine Month Absence, Attacks Blair Davenport

With a vengeance. There are all kinds of wrestlers on the WWE roster and as a result, it can be easy for someone to fall between the cracks. That can be even more the case when someone is put on the shelf with an injury. It can make for a big deal when one of those wrestlers makes the return and now we have seen that again, as an injured wrestler wants some revenge.

This week on NXT, a brawl broke out between the five participants in Deadline’s women’s Iron Survival Challenge. During the brawl, Nikkita Lyons ran out as well to attack Blair Davenport, the woman who injured Lyons in January, resulting in a torn ACL. Lyons appeared in the crowd last week but this is the first physical action she has seen on television since January. There is no word on when she will return to the ring.

Opinion: This is something that has been a long time in the making. Lyons has been away for the better part of a year now and now we get to see where things go from here. The feud is right there and that means we don’t need to wait around very long for things to get started. For now though, the interest is back as Lyons made a nice return and sets things up in a hurry.
