Welcome back. There are all kinds of reasons for a wrestler to be out of action and injuries are often near the top of the list. You might see someone get hurt and be put out of action out of nowhere and unfortunately it can take a long time for them to recover. That being said, you will occasionally see a great return after a big absence. That is what we are going to be seeing next week.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: VIDEO: WWE Releases Never Before Seen Title Change (This Is Cool)
WWE taped the November 18 edition of Monday Night Raw in advance this week. According to PWInsider.com, the show included the return of Rhea Ripley, who had been out of action due to a fractured orbital bone. Ripley was said to be wearing a protective mask as she returned and seemingly set up the women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series on November 30. She had been written off television due to an off-screen attack at the hands of Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez last month on NXT.
This was a big one. Check out the return, plus more from Ripley:
Opinion: This looks like a heck of a moment, as Ripley was not expected to return anytime soon but here she is, likely for one of the biggest matches of the year. That is more than you would have expected and that makes things all the more interesting. I could go for seeing more of whatever Ripley is doing, as she is one of the biggest stars in WWE today and she could be quite the addition to the story.
