She’s out? Stables are a longstanding concept in wrestling, as they have been around for years and continue to be a factor to this day. You will see teams come and go rather quickly at times and it can be a big deal when one of them undergoes a switch in their lineup. Sometimes this can be part of a much bigger story and that might have been the case this week as someone seemed ready to make a change.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Gone: More Details On Vince McMahon’s Resignation, Who Made The Call

Last week on SmackDown, Bayley walked away from Damage CTRL due to their constant mocking behind her back. Bayley challenged Iyo Sky for the WWE Women’s Title at WrestleMania 40, though a member of the team was missing. This week, Dakota Kai, who was not present for the split, said that she did not know what was going on with Damage CTRL. Bayley asked which side Kai was on but the former Damage CTRL interrupted. Before they could attack Bayley, Kai chased them off with a chair but did not reunite with Bayley. Kai is still out of action while recovering from knee surgery.

It was a busy night. Check out the situation and how we got here:

Opinion: This is something that almost had to happen as there was little way to accept the idea of Bayley facing Sky while down 4-1. There is always the chance that Kai will turn on Bayley in the end, but Bayley winning the title and having one of her old friends behind her would be a moment. I’m not sure if that is going to work, but at least they have given us something of a hope spot for the match.

What do you think of the change? How will the WrestleMania title match go? Let us know in the comments below.
