WATCH: Old School LA Knight Appears In Grocery Store Commercial

It’s another job. There are all kinds of ways to get over in the wrestling world and some of them work better than others. One of the best ways is to have a catchphrase that connects with the fans and makes them want to cheer for a wrestler. This has worked for years and is working again, but now we are seeing how that same star got over in an entirely different way.

A commercial for Aldi’s grocery store has been circulating around social media and featured WWE star LA Knight. The commercial features Knight playing a husband of a couple hosting a dinner with the food purchased from Aldi’s. There is no word on when the commercial was filmed or if Knight appeared in any other ads for the chain. Knight has also appeared in an advertisement for CarShield, also featuring Ric Flair.

He’s done a few things. Check out the two commercials, plus Knight in his better known job:

Opinion: It’s always fun to see someone in an ad like this from before they were famous. There’s nothing bad about it and I’m sure Knight enjoyed the payday that came with it. There have been wrestlers in commercials for years and in this case, Knight happens to be a relatively normal person. I could go for a lot more of Knight in WWE, and thankfully that seems to be on the way.
