That’s a bad one. There are all kinds of wrestling moves and holds that you will see used at various times, but only a few of them are treated as anything special. It can be a big deal when you see one of them take place and adds to what can be an already intense feud. That is what we saw again this week and it took a feud that was already going well onto another level.

This week’s SmackDown featured Randy Orton coming to the ring and demanding that Kevin Owens, who he had brawled with at Crown Jewel, come fight him. Owens did come to the ring and won the fight, giving Orton a piledriver. Commentary explained that the move was banned, and Orton would go to a hospital as a result, with Cody Rhodes joining him. There is no word on when Orton and Owens will face off next.

Opinion: That is certainly a way too elevate a feud in a hurry and now the question is where the story goes from here. If nothing else, the most obvious way to go would be to have Owens face Orton at Survivor Series later this month. Either way, it seems like we are coming up on Owens vs. Rhodes again at some point and that should be a big time showdown, which is great to see.
