He’s a big villain. Having a wrestler turn from bad to good or vice versa can be one of the most important moments in a wrestler’s career. It can mark a change of pace for everyone involved and opens up a variety of doors. If nothing else, it makes you wonder what they are going to do next, which was the case with a heel turn last week. Now we know the next step.

Last week after WWE Bad Blood, Kevin Owens attacked WWE Champion Cody Rhodes in the parking lot. This week, Owens invaded SmackDown and got in a fight with Randy Orton, who he jumped backstage later in the show. Owens also blamed Rhodes for causing him to turn but did not explain what he meant. There is no word on when Owens is expected to return to the ring.

Opinion: This is one of the more interesting things in WWE at the moment as the question becomes where Owens goes from here. There is always the chance that Owens winds up in the World Title picture again, though there is still his contract situation looming over the entire thing. Maybe this is the big change that Owens has been needing, but it is certainly quite the move.
