WATCH: John Cena Makes Major Royal Rumble Announcement

That’s one. We are on the way to the Royal Rumble and that means it is time to start getting ready for one of the biggest matches of the year. The show is going to need two matches with thirty wrestlers each for the two Royal Rubles. That is going to take some time to fill up the lineups, but now we have at least one of the bigger names on the show officially set.

This week on Monday Night Raw, John Cena officially announced that he was going to be involved in the men’s Royal Rumble. Cena said that he wanted to win another World Title but needed to win a match like the Royal Rumble to do so. The match is part of Cena’s Farewell Tour, as he is set to retire at the end of the year. Cena is a two time winner of the Royal Rumble, having won in 2008 and 2013.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that should open up some doors for the match, as Cena in his final match in trying to make one of last runs at the record setting World Title. There is a good chance that story is going to be one of the biggest parts of the year and this is where it starts. Cena very well may win the thing or at least come close, which is where things can go now.
