That’s some high praise. There are all kinds of wrestlers on the WWE roster and it is hard to make a major impact. Those are the wrestlers who have star power and you can see it as soon as you see them. It can make a big difference for someone to work with a wrestler of that caliber and now a WWE Superstar is making a pitch to get that kind of an opportunity in the near future.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Vince McMahon Doesn’t Plan To Leave WWE; Still Holds Heavy Influence

CM Punk made a surprise return at Survivor Series and appeared on the following Monday Night Raw. Punk has yet to be assigned to a brand but is set to appear on the next SmackDown and Monday Night Raw. During an appearance on the Bump, Jey Uso praised Punk and said he wanted Punk to join the Monday Night Raw roster. Uso offered to be Punk’s first opponent while also saying Punk was on “some Tribal Chief status”, referencing Uso’s cousin Roman Reigns.

This could be interesting. Check out the two of them in action:

Opinion: This is interesting in more than a few ways. First of all, the idea of an Uso vs. Punk match is unique enough. If nothing else, the fact that Uso is a big enough deal that him being Punk’s first opponent is hardly some stretch. At the same time, it makes you wonder who else Punk be facing, as there are so many unique options out there for Punk to face.

What do you think of the idea? Who should Punk face first? Let us know in the comments below.
