On the mend. There are all kinds of injuries in wrestling and you never know when someone is going to be put on the shelf. It can last for almost any length of time but some of the more serious injuries can take months to heal. There are times where you can see the recoveries taking place in front of your eyes, which is what an injured wrestler is doing at the moment.

Back in July, Sonya Deville suffered a torn ACL, putting her out of action for at least the rest of the year. Deville has recently posted a video to her TikTok account, showing her working on her recovery. This includes a mixture of exercises as well as physical therapy. There is currently no word on when Deville will be returning to the ring. She was forced to vacate her half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles due to her injury, with Piper Niven taking her place.

Opinion: Hopefully the recovery process goes as fast as possible as this is one of the more serious injuries that a wrestler can face. Deville was on a roll and then has to lose what is probably going to be the better part of a year. It would be great to see her back in the ring sooner than later, but that could take a very long time, which is a shame as she can boost the division by doing quite a few things.
