WATCH: Important Moment Takes Place After AEW Dynamite, New Hero Emerges

He’s ready. There are certain stories that pop up in wrestling over and over again and that is because they work. One of the stories that is well received is the hero standing up to fight against the top evil in the promotion. It is a trope that fans can understand and accept rather easily and we might be seeing the same thing with a rather popular star in the near future.

In recent weeks, Jon Moxley and the Blackpool Combat Club have taken over AEW, even declaring war on the promotion. As a result, various people have asked Orange Cassidy, who has defeated Moxley in the past, to step up for the company. The ending of this week’s Dynamite saw the Club attacking Cassidy’s friend Chuck Taylor. AEW has released a clip from after the show, with Cassidy saying that he would stand up for the company next week on Dynamite. There is no word on what Cassidy is planning to do.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that is rather interesting as it opens up a door to the next step of the story. At the same time, it is something that really needed to air on Dynamite rather than as a clip online. Let the most people possible see it and therefore open up the audience that much bigger. It’s a good idea for now though, as Cassidy is ready to step up to the next level after a long way there.
