A new free agent. The wrestling world is moving faster than it ever has these days and that makes for some very interesting changes almost every week. You see wrestlers going from one promotion to another and it can be fascinating to see where people wind up. That seems to be the case again, as one of the bigger names Impact Wrestling had to offer is moving on.
The Impact Wrestling Knockouts division has been a highlight of the company for a very long time now. The division has seen a variety of stars come in and out over the years, which is certainly something interesting. There are several incredibly talented people who have wrestled in the division and some of them are names who would be valuable to other promotions. That seems to be the case again.
There might be some interest. Check out who is leaving Impact Wrestling:
During this week’s Impact Wrestling, former Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie was revealed as the person who convinced Larry D. to shoot John E. Bravo during Bravo’s wedding to Rosemary. As a result, Valkyrie was arrested, with Tommy Dreamer saying she would be going to prison in Jacksonville (AEW), Stamford (WWE) or Baltimore (Ring of Honor). There is no word on where she is planning to go next.
Opinion: If nothing else, at least this gives us the ending to a rather long running storyline in Impact Wrestling. Valkyrie moving on is understandable as she has nothing left to accomplish in Impact Wrestling and may want some new challenges. Valkyrie has all of the qualities that you would want to see in a star and I could see her going to multiple different companies.
