Outside details. There are all kinds of stories on AEW television every week but that does not mean the show ends when the show is over. In addition, there are other times where a story needs more time to develop, especially with a major match on the way. That is the case this week as an upcoming pay per view match got some extra focus a few days before the showdown took place.

This coming weekend, AEW is presenting Full Gear, featuring a match between Swerve Strickland and Hangman Page. On Thursday at a Wrestling Revolver show, Strickland was in the ring for a promo when Page attacked him from behind. Security quickly broke the fight up. This came after the two went face to face this week on AEW Dynamite, though they were not allowed to make contact with the other.

It was a busy fight. Check out the brawl plus how we got here:

Opinion: There is something so cool about seeing a wrestler pop up in a place they probably shouldn’t be. That was the case here, as the fans got something special that they didn’t see coming. At the same time, an already hot AEW feud gets a unique build and that should help them for Saturday. I’m looking forward to the match and a lot of that is ue to Page’s anger. That is what we’re seeing here and it worked well.
