He’s back! There are all kinds of reasons for a wrestler to take a break from the ring. It might be anything from a creative issue to an injury to a contract problem to all points in between. What matters the most is getting everyone on the same page and having someone come back. It can be a huge moment when they do, and that was the case this weekend.

Opinion: This is a big relief for WWE as when someone leaves like McIntyre did, you never know when they might come back. It can be a big moment to have them back and that is exactly what we had with this return. Odds are we’re getting McIntyre vs. Gunther one on one at Summerslam and that should be a heck of a showdown with a worthy challenger. Hopefully everyone involved is happy and can keep going, as McIntyre was already gone long enough.
