Welcome to the team? With so many wrestlers on the WWE roster, it makes sense to split them into some groups. That is exactly what WWE has done, as the roster is split up between Monday Night Raw, SmackDown and the two NXT’s. You do not often see the rosters interacting with each other or wrestlers crossing over, but it does happen every now and then. That was the case again this week.

This week’s edition of NXT featured a surprise appearance from Monday Night Raw star Dolph Ziggler. NXT Champion Bron Breakker and #1 contender Santos Escobar were in the ring when Ziggler interrupted to talk to Breakker. Ziggler talked about his accomplishments in WWE and said that he might take Breakker’s title. Breakker said Ziggler could have the next title shot after Escobar, which led to Tommaso Ciampa coming to the ring. Ciampa said that he would be getting the next shot and brawled with Ziggler.

The appearance came after Ziggler and Breakker have traded shots online, which included Breakker telling Ziggler that he could have the next shot. Ziggler had threatened to come to NXT and face off with Breakker. There is no word on when or if Ziggler will have a match in NXT or who he would be facing. Ziggler has wrestled in NXT before, defeating Alexander Rusev back in 2013.

It was a busy night. Check out Ziggler’s appearance and the chaos that ensued:

Opinion: I would assume that this sets up Ziggler vs. Ciampa next week at Vengeance Day for the title shot and that is a good way to go. Ziggler is someone with a reputation and the skill to back it up. If this leads to him feuding with Breakker and helping him with some seasoning then it is a good thing for NXT. Above all else, Breakker has the potential to be a star and I would love to see what some expertise could do for him.

What do you think of Ziggler’s appearance? How will he do in NXT? Let us know in the comments below.
