WATCH: Former WWE Superstar Makes Surprise Appearance In AEW Dynamite Dark Match

He’s in? There are all kinds of people who come together to make a wrestling show work and some of them rarely make appearances on camera. Some of the most important are the people who help make the matches come together. These people, called agents, are often former wrestlers, but occasionally they will gets in the ring again. That was the case again, with a surprise appearance from a legend.

According to PWInsider.com, Scott Taylor, formerly known as Scotty 2 Hotty, wrestled in a dark match before AEW Dynamite. Taylor teamed with Billy Gunn and the Acclaimed to defeat the Gunns, Matt Menard and Jake Hager. Taylor was able to use his Too Cool theme music for the match. He has been working in AEW as an agent, though it is not clear if he will be wrestling for the company regularly going forward.

Opinion: This is one of those things that happens every so often but it is something that gave the fans a nice moment. Taylor is someone who has been around for the better part of ever in wrestling and it is cool to see him still getting in the ring. At the very least, putting him out there and letting him get the fans into a match with someone else is a good idea. It seems to have worked here to start and hopefully it works again if AEW tries another shot.
