WATCH: Former WWE Star Wins Championship In Another Sport

He’s good at something else. There were all kinds of wrestlers released from the WWE this week and there is a lot of talent heading to the free agent market. It opens up some interesting options, as you never know where some of these wrestlers might wind up. One wrestler who was released earlier this week has already moved on to something else, and he has even picked up a championship.

Lince Dorado was one of the wrestlers released from WWE earlier this week. According to Fightful, Dorado won a gold medal at the Jiu-Jitsu World League Florida Open on Saturday, though it is not known what division he competed in. Dorado tweeted out a clip of one of his matches on Twitter, saying his goal was to win at all costs and thanking his friends and family for always pushing him.

Opinion: Good for him! That’s very impressive to go from a pretty career shaking change all the way to winning a championship in a completely different sport in the span of three days. Dorado is someone who could be a valuable asset to more than one company and I’m sure that he is going to get a spot on a roster sometime in the near future. He is too good not to, and apparently that is the case in two different sports.
