And there it is. There have been lots of names who have appeared for Tony Khan’s promotions over their still relatively short history and some of them have been among the biggest stars in wrestling. It can make a big difference when someone shows up from another promotion, especially a former top WWE superstar. That appears to be the case again, but it might not be what you were expecting.

Ring Of Honor held its latest tapings following this Friday’s Collision and Rampage tapings. During the show, Ronda Rousey made her debut, teaming with her friend Marina Shafir. This comes after Rousey had been wrestling on various independent shows in recent months, including this week at a Pro Wrestling Revolver show. There is no word on how long Rousey will be around or if she will wrestle for AEW.

This was a surprise. Check out Rousey’s debut, plus her time in the ring elsewhere:

Opinion: Well dang that just happened. Rousey left WWE in a hurry and now seems likely for at least one big match in Ring Of Honor. It would be hard to imagine that this is a one off for her, but at the end of the day, it certainly gives a feeling of “look who might show up”. Rousey is a bigger star than pretty much anyone in Ring Of Honor and almost anyone in AEW, so getting her for as long as possible is a good thing.

What do you think of the debut? What should Rousey do in Ring Of Honor/AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
