He’s back too. There are all kinds of stars on the AEW roster and some of them made their names elsewhere before coming into the company. This includes several former World Champions from other promotions, many of whom have been brought in to use their star power to help some other stars. That is the case again, and we are going to be seeing one such legend getting back in the ring.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: And NEW! Title Change Takes Place This Week On AEW Dynamite
This week on AEW Dynamite, the Don Callis Family challenged Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho to a street fight in two weeks on the November 15 Dynamite. Omega and Jericho accepted, with Omega announcing that Kota Ibushi would be joining them. Jericho then said that he had a friend to team with them who was even bigger than the Family’s Powerhouse Hobbs. This brought out Paul Wight (formerly known as Big Show in WWE) to be the team’s fourth member. Wight’s most recent match took place in March 2022 on AEW Dark: Elevation.
Wight is a big deal. Check out his time in AEW:
Opinion: Wight is an interesting choice and it is going to add some star power to the match. Even though Wight has not wrestled in over a year, he is someone who has been known in wrestling for the better part of thirty years and that is enough to give it a boost. At the very least, he is someone who can lose a fall without losing any kind of status, which is rather useful.
What do you think of Wight being included? How will the match go? Let us know in the comments below.
