They’re back! Stables are one of the best ideas in wrestling as they allow several wrestlers to get television time all at once. A group of wrestlers with the same goals or purpose can be put together and serve as a unit, which often opens up new doors for them. WWE has used them for years and now they are bringing one back from a promotion that has long since been gone.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Half As Good: Positive News On Injury To Popular AEW Star
This week on SmackDown, Legado Del Fantasma offered to help Rey Mysterio against Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania 39 if Dominik’s Judgment Day teammates got involved. Rey agreed, but said they would do it in style. He then presented the team with Latino World Order (LWO) shirts, including one for himself. The LWO was a stable in WCW, with Rey as a reluctant member. There is no word on how long this new version will last.
It was a cool flashback. Check out the team uniting and the original version:
Opinion: This is an interesting one as the LWO was little more than a joke in the late 90s. It’s an idea that could be used a bit better today, and if nothing else it gives Legado Del Fantasma something else to do. There is a lot of potential in the team and it is nice to see them being used for once. If nothing else, giving Santos Escobar more attention is a good thing so they have something going on.
