Nice to meet you. While WWE might be the biggest wrestling company in the world, there are several other places for wrestlers to try their hand and develop themselves into stars. That is often going to bring WWE calling for their services and sometimes it is a great way to bring in some new talent. That was the case this week on NXT, and this time it was a double shot.
Tag team wrestling has meant more to NXT than WWE for several years now and there is no indication that is going to change anytime soon. NXT spends far more time on its tag division and makes it seem that much more important. As a result, a new tag team can mean a lot more in NXT and that seems to be the case again here, as some new names have popped up.
During this week’s NXT, the former Rascalz, now known as MSK, made their debuts with the company. The team, comprised of Nash Carter (Zachary Wentz) and Wes Les (Dezmond Xavier) defeated Isaiah Scott and Jake Atlas in the first round of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. This comes after the two were announced as part of the new class of signings last year. There is no word on if Trey Miguel will be signing as well.
I think they might have something. Check out the team in action:
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that gets my attention as the team was one of the most interesting things that Impact Wrestling had for a very long time. The Rascalz were some of the better athletes around and while I would like the third member of the team around, the two of them should be a great addition to NXT’s tag division. They certainly could use one at the moment.
