Welcome to the team. There are all kinds of talented stars on the AEW roster but like any other wrestling promotion, the company has to keeps things moving in order to stay fresh. That means bringing in new stars from time to time, which can often help by signing some free agents. AEW has done that again, with a star debuting for the company fairly close to her hometown.

This week’s AEW Dynamite featured Mariah May defeating Queen Aminata. Following the match, May insulted the New Jersey crowd, which brought out the debuting Deonna Purrazzo, who is from New Jersey. Purrazzo argued with May and revealed that she had been signed to the company before kicking May to the floor. Purrazzo’s TNA Wrestling contract expired at the beginning of the year, making her a free agent.
This is an interesting one. Check out the debut, plus Purrazzo in TNA Wrestling:
Opinion: This has me intrigued, as Purrazzo has found herself in TNA Wrestling over the years. She’s a talented star and someone who could do some good work for AEW. The company is adding in some fresh stars and that should help the women’s division. She even had a nice debut, so things are at least starting off on the right foot, which is a good sign for the future.
What did you think of the debut? How will Purrazzo do in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
