WATCH: Eric Bischoff Makes Surprise NXT Appearance, Set For Next Week

He’s here? There have been almost countless stars throughout WWE’s history and some of them made their names elsewhere before coming to the company. Those stars can often have some kind of a reputation for one specific thing that follows them throughout the rest of their careers. This week saw a surprise cameo, with the promises of one such name making a special appearance soon.

This week on NXT, WWE Hall Of Famer made a surprise appearance via satellite, interrupting an argument between Trick Williams and Ridge Holland, saying that he would be appearing in person next week. Bischoff said that he would see what the two of them were willing to do to each other but did not say what he specifically had in mind. There is no word on if next week will be a one off appearance or the start of a new run for Bischoff.

Opinion: That’s one of the most random cameos I’ve seen in a long time as Bischoff hasn’t been a thing in WWE for a good while. It’s always interesting to have a legend show up for a surprise appearance and this should be no exception, but it’s just so out of nowhere. Odds are Bischoff should be fine and make things a bit more interesting, but the surprise at the whole appearance might be the real drawing card here.
