WATCH: More Entrants Confirmed For Royal Rumble Matches

With more to come. We have less than two weeks to go before the Royal Rumble, meaning that things are going to start rolling on the Road To WrestleMania. The show is one of the most important of the year and that is almost entirely due to the Royal Rumble matches. Sixty people will be taking part in two matches and that means there are several spots to fill. Now some of them have been taken care of.

Filling out the Royal Rumble lineups is one of the trickier things to pull off as you want to have a good selection of top names but also enough spaces left over for the lighter options. There are going to be some names in there who are almost guaranteed to be included and that is not a bad thing. Some of those names are already in and now we have even more of them included.

Four more names were announced for the two Royal Rumble matches on Monday, with one man and three women being added. Jeff Hardy and Peyton Royce announced their entrances via Twitter while Alexa Bliss and Shayna Baszler were confirmed during Monday Night Raw. Baszler had talked about being in the match but had yet to be officially announced. These announcements bring the number of entrants for both matches up to nine.

Opinion: I know we are still a good bit away from the show but you can start to see some of the favorites emerging. Bliss certainly looks like a possible winner after her transformation on this week’s Monday Night Raw and while Hardy may not be a main event star any longer, he is still a big enough star that you have to keep at least an eye on whatever he is doing.
