WATCH: Drew McIntyre Says He Is “Done” With Roman Reigns

He’s done for now. There is nothing in WWE as big as Roman Reigns at the moment, and the promotion has been built around him for a very long time. That does not mean there is nothing else going on in the company though and it can be interesting to see someone step up to go after Reigns. However, that does not seem to be the case for one major star, who wants to go in another direction.

During an interview with Stay Busy With Armon Sadler, former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre said that his time with Reigns is “done for now certainly”. McIntyre said that since he is now on Monday Night Raw and he has already had his opportunity with Reigns. McIntyre went on to say that his focus was on the Intercontinental Title. Reigns successfully defended his WWE Universal Title against McIntyre at Clash At The Castle in September 2022.

Opinion: There does come a point where it is time to move on. Reigns has beaten McIntyre multiple times over the years so why should McIntyre get another shot? It’s kind of interesting that McIntyre seems to understand this, which isn’t exactly what you would expect from someone in his position most of the time. For now though, at least it seems the feud is over and that might be best or everyone.
