They work well together. Stables are a rather simple concept that can reap quite the set of benefits for the people involved. They can allow wrestlers to have more ring time than they would otherwise receive, while also setting up some great moments between them. This can include wrestlers getting to do things that would never work otherwise, which might have been the case this weekend.

Over the weekend, WWE presented a live event in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. During the show, Cody Rhodes defeated Damian Priest in a singles match. Following the match, Priest insisted to Rhea Ripley that he could walk out on his own, only to fall down as he tried to head to the back. Ripley then had to pick him up and help walk him to the back as Rhodes stayed in the ring to celebrate.

Opinion: There is something so fun about seeing things at a live event that would not make it onto regular television. Priest had already lost in the part that mattered the most, but then he got to take the big pratfall and do the comedy bit with Ripley. That is going to give the fans a memory from the show and that is something that will last a lot longer than the result of the match.
